APOLLO AHEPA

Update 04/30/2019
I just want to tell you and all the K-9 staff how much you all have changed my husband life and also mine. This program is such a life changing to veterans. We are planning things that I thought had gone out of our life's.
Brian's attitude is so much better. Know one knows unless they live with a combat veteran what and how your life has changed since they returned home with the scares that will last a life time.
He really was on a road to destruction and I was lost on how to help. But Joe sent us your way and I my self was so hopeful but scared also as we have tried so much in 13 years dealing with tbi, ptsd and just life in general.
I know that it has only been a month but it seems so different and I am very hopeful that as time goes by we will live more comfortable. I know it will never be the same as I have adjusted to the fact.
But it is gratefully going in a better place for us, especially Brian. First Vet visit today was great.
Here are some pictures of Apollo and Brian.

Here is an update from Apollo AHEPA's trainer:
Apollo is steadily progressing in his training sessions and public access. We have visited many locations since the last update. One location that can be difficult for some dogs is the Avenues Mall with the glass elevator and glass walls on the second story. But not for Apollo! He loved riding the glass elevator as it gave him an excellent viewpoint. Once we got to the second floor he enjoyed walking close to the glass walls to watch the activities below. He's very observant and loves discovering new things.
Have a wonderful weekend and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
