It's the handsomest pup at Camp K9 checking in! As always, it's been a busy two weeks here. I've been trying so hard to work on being brave and my trainer is really proud of me!
The big adventures this week have been going to IKEA and a place called the mall. IKEA was easy-peasy for me. I really enjoyed trying out all the different rugs by laying down on them and showing how calm
I could be with so many sights and sounds. I have to say, I wasn't as excited about the mall. There was SO much going on that I got a little overwhelmed. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw people walking up above my head!
My trainer said it was something called a balcony, it was so weird! My trainer let me sit in a safe spot and watch all the people go by and I started to feel my brave coming back.
By the time we left I had my happy wagging tail going full force! The other cool thing this week was, I got to go to a pizza party. Sadly, I didn't get any pizza, but I did get to hang out with my trainer and watch a movie!
My favorite thing is just spending quiet, chill time with the people I like so that was really a highlight for me. Speaking of people I like, my trainer has been having other trainers work with me, something about "handler transferability."
It's supposed to help me when I get to my Warrior so that's cool. I love working with other people and they all told my trainer what a good boy I am. Ok my friends, it's back to work for me! XO- Gabriel 09/2022

We had our Chapter meeting tonight and agreed on the name for the 2nd District #4 service dog--
"Gabriel" after one of our Chapter members who became a Supreme President--- George Gabriel. The family
is still involved with AHEPA as George's son-in-law is a member as are his 2 sons. One son, Robert G. Vidoni,
is currently serving his second year as Chapter President of Lehigh Chapter #60.
In addition, a check for $3,000 was recently sent directly to Chairman George Karatzia from B. Braun Medical Inc.
One of our members works there and applied for the 2nd check from that company. Credit should be given to
Lehigh Chapter #60 and Power District #4 for that donation.
