Just received the last of the dog updates from the trainer this morning. 04/16/2019. See below for Maverick's progress!

Maverick continues to be wonderful to work with. He is incredibly affectionate and tries his very hardest to do the right thing.
We are still working on the idea of relaxing and slowing down in general. He has a constant desire to go and do all the things. He spent the day out with the warriors so we could get a gauge of how he would handle working that much, and he did great.
Toward the end of the day he did get a little tired, but that is very much to be expected. Each morning he starts his day with a play group with the other three dogs on my string and then he comes upstairs to stay in a kennel with a peanut butter Kong to relax before he starts working for the day.
After a stressful day of training, I'll take him to the pool to let him chase a ball and swim. He has garnered quite the reputation of being the best dog to watch at the pool. I look forward to continuing to work with him and see him through training.
