Happy Holidays friends! I have been having such a great time lately. I really enjoyed working out in public during the very busy Christmas shopping period.
I did so well and looooved seeing all the decorations. For Christmas I was so lucky and got to spend it in a wonderful home and was spoiled with all the Christmas festivities!
Then I rang in the new year with my foster friends to get some R&R from kennel life. I am making sure to keep my skills sharp so I can hit the ground running. April and I are very excited for all of the possibilities that lie ahead in 2022!
I hope it is the best year yet! My New Year’s resolution is to be the best battle buddy ever! I hope you have a very healthy and happy new year! Thank you for believing in me and supporting me on my journey!
I am having such an amazing time in training! April and I are back from our New Year’s celebration and ready to hit the ground running.
We are going to have such an amazing year in 2022! I feel so rested and excited for what is to come. I hope you had a fantastic new year! I have been on campus working on my skills.
April and I play in the yards, go for walks, and visit everyone we see. I had a great time practicing my skills off leash in one of our yards.
I really impressed April by walking by her side with great focus, then we ran through everything I know. I did not try to run and play with
the ball even once! This week we are going to go to St. Augustine and some local stores to practice my skills in public more.
I am so excited for what is to come, and I know I will be the best Battle Buddy ever when the time is right! 02/2022
Murphy AHEPA Hello again! I hope this update finds you well. April and I have been so busy lately! We have been finetuning my skills and really getting focused on what I can do. We go all over town doing fun and exciting things to get me ready to be a Service Dog. The biggest things I am working on right now are my service skills. My favorite is 'stand', that is where I stand in front of someone and let them have some distance when people approach or want to crowd around. It has been difficult practicing this in the crowded stores, but I am always up for the challenge! My biggest Christmas wish is that you and my future battle buddy have a very happy and healthy holiday season. I am going to be spending Christmas in a warm, cozy home! I am so excited for all the festivities and to see if there is anything special under the tree for me. Until next time, wishing you the very best! 12/2021
