Hello there! My name is Wynn AHEPA, I’m a beautiful German Shepard from Connecticut.
It has been an adjustment getting used to working in this Florida heat.
I keep being told how smart I am by how fast I’m learning these service skills! My favorite one has to be “under.”
This is where I go under my trainer’s legs or underneath a table/chair in order to fit into any space my Warrior will need me in.
People keep asking my trainer if I’m a police dog, but little do they know I’m going to be a Service Dog helping save someone’s life, thanks to you!
I have been visiting a lot of cool places, like the mall, where I got to ride in elevators and hang out at the food court with all the different smells.

Although I have never served, I come from a family of Veterans, including my own daughter.
I deeply respect those who have served our country and give my time and talents, to the AHEPA Service Dogs for Warriors, in an effort to save lives,
and bring comfort to those suffering from PTSD/and or depression.
As a lifelong dog owner and dedicated AHEPAN; I found the Service Dogs for Warriors to be a perfect avenue for volunteering.
As a recent Cancer survivor, I am deeply moved to be a recipient of a Dog Naming in my honor and excited to play a bigger role
in the process of helping a worthy Veteran be paired with a Service dog, of their own.
Looking forward to meeting "Wynn" the service dog and his veteran match in the near future.
